professional statement

I optimize it performance

IT professional

I have worked in IT for over 25 years as a developer, project manager, and leader. I love IT, because it changes, and you have to constantly change with it, which offers new opportunities. My newest passion is optimizing IT performance. Studies have shown that IT performance does contribute to organizational performance through the proper use of technology, process, and culture.

leader

I believe leadership matters. Studies have shown that transformational leadership contributes to organizational performance, including profitability, productivity, market share, the number of customers, and customer satisfaction. As a transformational leader, I make every effort to have vision, provide intellectual stimulation, inspire communication, support the organization, and give personal recognition.

lifelong learner

I am a lifelong learner, always seeking a better understanding of things. Over the years, I have earned my MBA, PMP, and CSM certifications. I believe theory should be followed up with doing, and I have always sought to implement what I have learned in my everyday practice. Even though I have mostly worked for SMEs throughout my career, I have had the flexibility to implement real change. Currently, I am a Marymount University student in their DBA Business Intelligence program.
